Aus Asia Produce is proud being a pioneer in offering many delicious varieties of fruits to Australia. Our Patriarch John has been selling nashi’s in Australia since 1990, so we know our Nashis! Having imported Chinese brown nashi (Shingo) since 2006, together with John’s two son’s Thanh & David, the family has been working to source premium nashi’s to Australia since 2017.
The Autumn Moon Pear is a variety developed in Japan and must be grown with Japanese horticultural techniques. This knowledge has been implemented in Laiyang Shandong China and as the trees have grown, the fruit has developed larger sized fruit, sweeter sugar levels, more flavourful skins and firmer crispier texture. Autumn Moon Pears are characterised by their milky white flesh, honeyed sweetneress, crispy texture and extreme amount of juice. Some describe the juiciness as though you are literally “drinking pear juice directly”!
